After a five year break, IRIR Harmony Nite returns in 2024 to a resounding success, celebrating our diverse cultural tapestry. Graced by Guest of Honour His Excellency Tharman Shanmugaratnam, President of the Republic of Singapore, alongside 2,000 residents, foreign diplomats, and religious leaders, the evening dazzled with cultural performances, invocations from nine religions, and the reading of the Declaration of Religious Harmony in our four official languages.

As the new Chairman of the Thye Hua Kwan Group, Ardi Hardjoe used the occasion to commemorate sixty years since the 1964 Race Riots, noting that harmony is sought after like a precious commodity in many countries but could be counted on as an asset in Singapore, and called on the public to cherish and perpetuate our harmony for generations to come.

Organised by the Thye Hua Kwan Group and partners Inter-Religious Organisation (IRO), Chinese Development Assistance Council (CDAC), Eurasian Association (EA), Singapore Indian Development Association (SINDA), and Yayasan MENDAKI, and supported by the Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth, the IRIR Harmony Nite caps off seventeen editions since its inception in 2004.
